About Us

VINEYARD AND TASTING ROOM

Named for a historic Cherokee leader, Tsali Notch Vineyard is a hidden gem nestled in Monroe County, Tennessee. Within the picturesque Tennessee Overhill Heritage Area and en route to the breathtaking Cherohala Skyway, this vineyard invites you to discover the unique allure of “America’s Wild Grape”: the muscadine.

Known for their bold and distinct flavor, muscadines are among the foods highest in health-giving antioxidants (resveratrol). Our vineyard spans 202 acres, with over 6,000 vines flourishing on 21 miles of trellis. The estate is surrounded by stunning mountain vistas, creating an idyllic backdrop for our thriving vineyard.

Tsali Notch also serves as a setting for weddings, reunions and special events, offering a blend of rustic elegance and natural beauty. Enjoy our spacious party barn, our tasting room or The Jackson Lounge – a lovingly restored 19th-century farmhouse perfect for gatherings.

Every fall, we invite the public to our vineyard to pick muscadines off the vine for themselves! America’s Wild Grape is for more than just wine; it’s perfect for making juice or jelly or simply to savor. It’s a time of celebration, connection and cheer.

Tsali Notch grows six varieties of muscadines:

  • RED (Dark): Nesbit and Noble
  • WHITE (Bronze): Carlos, Doreen, Magnolia, Sterling

Join us at Tsali Notch Vineyard, where the legacy of America’s Wild Grape thrives in every bottle, every glass and every unforgettable experience.
